ASAS Energies Ignites Progress with 1 Billion TZS Igumbilo Fuel Station Launch by 2024 Independence Torch
ASAS Energies Celebrates the Official Launch of Igumbilo Fuel Station by the 2024 Independence Torch
We are honored to announce the official inauguration of our latest milestone—the ASAS Energies Fuel Station located in Igumbilo Ward, Iringa Municipality. This significant development was proudly launched under the esteemed 2024 Independence Torch, led by Mr. Godfrey Mzava, the national torch relay leader.
With an investment exceeding 1 billion Tanzanian Shillings, the Igumbilo Fuel Station reflects ASAS Energies’ unwavering dedication to expanding access to reliable, top-quality fuel and energy services across Tanzania. Strategically positioned, this station is designed not only to meet the growing energy needs of the region but also to serve as a catalyst for community development and economic upliftment.
More than just a fueling point, this site includes restaurants, retail outlets, and essential service amenities—creating a multifunctional hub that stimulates local business, creates employment opportunities, and contributes to the socio-economic fabric of Igumbilo and the surrounding areas.
We are especially grateful for the recognition given by Mr. Mzava during the launch, who commended the positive impact this project will have on job creation, regional trade, and improved standards of living for the local community.
As highlighted by ASAS Energies Director Mr. Ahmed Abri, this project embodies our broader vision to support national development through targeted infrastructure investment. It underscores our belief that empowering communities begins with access—to energy, opportunity, and growth.
At ASAS Energies, we remain firmly committed to advancing Tanzania’s sustainable development goals by continuing to invest in impactful projects that drive transformation across regions.
Together, we are fueling progress—one community at a time.
